Our approach to Health Promotion
Health Promotion at our laboratory is grounded in the conviction that physical activity is one of the most powerful and universally accessible modulators of immune function, resilience, and long-term wellbeing. We translate mechanistic insights from exercise immunology into evidence-based strategies that empower individuals — from healthy populations to those recovering from infection or managing infection-associated chronic illness.
By bridging fundamental research with applied practice, we develop, evaluate, and disseminate targeted exercise and lifestyle interventions that strengthen immune tolerance, reduce vulnerability to disease, and support sustainable recovery. Our health promotion work is embedded in community, clinical, and academic settings, ensuring that scientific knowledge translates into measurable health outcomes for individuals and communities.
Research into exercise immunology and health is inherently interdisciplinary — spanning exercise physiology, immunobiology, data science, and clinical research — reflecting the complexity of the human body under the dual demands of physical stress and immune challenge.
